Welcome to The Health Experience

I’m glad you’re here! I created The Health Experience because I was tired of today’s healthcare system not prioritizing my unique needs or taking the time to understand how my body works. When I was in grad school to obtain my Master’s in Psychology, I noticed there was little emphasis on the significant and proven connection between hormonal health and mental health. Even further, I realized that female sex hormones control so much, including our mood, energy, skin, hydration, how we think, libido, how we feel in our body, and so much more! This inspired me to learn more about my own connection with my naturally fluctuating hormones. I learned that through food choices, movement, and lifestyle changes, I was able to lean into my monthly rhythms - rather than feel blind sighted every month. I’m passionate about sharing this information with others and making more women feel seen and heard. If you resonate with my experience and want to learn more about your Health Experience, follow along with me or book a call to chat about your specific health goals!

  • I define The Health Experience (THE) as sensation of well-being, experienced physically and emotionally. I find THE as a more valuable measure of health than traditional wellness metrics alone.

  • I have my Master's in Psychology from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor's in Biology from CSU Long Beach. I’m also a 200-HR certified Yoga Instructor. I use peer-reviewed published research and was a neuropsychologist research assistant. My professional background is in corporate healthcare management and operations where I contributed to expanding access to healthcare to underserved communities throughout California. I've vowed to dedicate my professional career to researching the intricate link between the body and mental health.

  • The Health Experience (THE) is not just a slogan, it’s a movement. A movement towards more inclusive wellness that prioritizes women, underserved populations, and the modern human.
